Fragrance diffusers, from reed diffusers and sprays to more sophisticated and cutting-edge options, are a true home decor accessory that is an absolute must-have. We have said this countless times, focusing on aesthetics and individual fragrances suitable for various areas of the house. Today, Essenziale, an exclusive brand of diffusers with an online shop active throughout Italy, gives you some tips on how best to position your diffusers.
Size matters
First and foremost, you need to consider the size of the bottle. A bottle that is too small placed in a large area would not be able to cover the surface to be fragranced. As a general guide, for rooms measuring 10 m2, 100 ml diffusers may be suitable. For areas between 30 to 50 m2, however, 1-liter bottles are necessary.
Placement? Where should they be placed?
The best place would be in the center of the room on supports that are not too high, such as consoles or medium-height cabinets. It might be helpful to place them near windows to allow for air circulation and thus the movement of the fragrance.
Placing them in areas that are too high does not seem like a wise choice: the intensity of the fragrance tends to rise upwards. If the diffusers are placed too high, it is possible that the scent will not be perceived in the house.
The reeds should be flipped at least once a week to allow the fragrance to continuously regenerate its intensity. The fragrance level inside the bottle should always be at a sufficient height to ensure that the reeds are well saturated.
Finally, when the fragrance is finished, do not throw away the bottle. Oniusa Venezia sells refills to allow you not to waste and not to further pollute the environment.
