Bòtanica

Welcome to Oniusa's Bòtanica collection.

The Bòtanica collection releases the authentic scent of nature. Ancient and aromatic notes, never trivial. Classic accords reinterpreted in a modern key, made with natural essential oils.

The scent of nature comes in six different fragrances, built around two main olfactory notes, immediately recognizable in the name of the fragrance itself.

The packaging is minimal and distinctive, in pure "ancient pharmacy" style. The amber glass bottles preserve and protect the precious essential oils.

FAQ

Find answers to frequently asked questions and learn more about how to use our products.

Safety and usage

Are air fresheners safe?

Yes, if used correctly and according to instructions.

Are air fresheners suitable for use around pets or children?

Yes, but it is important to always place them out of their reach to ensure maximum safety.

Are room diffusers flammable?

Yes, since they contain alcohol, it is important to keep them away from open flames.

Product selection

How do I choose a home fragrance?

The choice depends on three main factors:

  1. Space: large rooms require more structured fragrances, while small ones need lighter notes.
  2. Room function: welcoming scents are preferred in living areas, softer and more delicate notes in bedrooms, and fresh, citrusy fragrances in kitchens.
  3. Your personal taste: the scent should reflect your style and naturally complement your daily life. A good room fragrance doesn't cover up, but enhances the space.

How can I make my home smell good for a long time?

To achieve a constant and long-lasting scent, it is important to choose a reed diffuser, which ensures a continuous release of the fragrance. Place it in a strategic spot in the room (not too ventilated or exposed to heat sources) and remember to turn the reeds 1-2 times a week to reactivate the diffusion. To intensify the scent at desired moments, you can combine it with a room and fabric spray.

What is the best room fragrance?

There isn't a single "best" room fragrance, but rather one that best suits your needs.

  • Reed diffusers are ideal for a continuous and subtle fragrance.
  • Sprays offer an immediate and adjustable effect.
  • Scented candles create atmosphere and intensity for special moments.

The best choice often comes from combining multiple products to build a true olfactory balance in a space.

Operation and Performance

Why doesn't the reed diffuser smell anymore?

The causes can be various:

  • the sticks are saturated and no longer diffuse properly (they need to be replaced);
  • the fragrance has been used up or a less volatile base has remained at the bottom;
  • the environment is very large or ventilated and disperses the scent;
  • the diffuser is placed in a non-strategic position. To restore good diffusion, it is recommended to turn or replace the sticks and choose the appropriate size for the space.
  • your sense of smell has become accustomed to the fragrance. In this case, we recommend alternating the fragrance for some time before returning to the usual one.
Can I use multiple air fresheners in the same room?

Yes, but it's important to maintain a balance between fragrances.

Our olfactory furnishing sets are specifically designed by our expert to have different fragrances in the same environment working in synergy with each other.

We also offer a personalized consultation service to guide you in choosing the most suitable option.

Duration and maintenance

What is the duration of a 100 ml and 300 ml diffuser?

Duration may vary due to several factors (number of reeds used, temperature, ventilation, room size), but as a guide:

  • 100 ml: approximately 4–6 weeks
  • 300 ml: approximately 2–4 months

To extend its duration, you can reduce the number of reeds used. Conversely, to achieve a more intense fragrance, it is recommended to increase them.

Can I reuse the diffuser container?

Yes, provided compatible refills are used and the bottle is thoroughly cleaned before reuse.

Should candle wicks be trimmed?

The candle wick should always be kept at a height of about 1 cm. If black smoke appears during lighting, the wick should be trimmed back to the ideal length. Make sure that any burnt wick residue does not fall into the molten wax; if it does, you can remove it with a soft cloth once the wax has solidified.
