13 Years of Oniusa Venezia: The Story of an Italian Olfactory Signature

An anniversary that tells a vision

Some brands are born to follow trends. Others are born to build a vision meant to last. Oniusa Venezia belongs to this second category.

In June 2013, the Zorzetto brothers transformed a shared passion for perfume, design, and Italian manufacturing into an entrepreneurial project that today represents one of the most recognizable realities in the Made in Italy home fragrance landscape.

Thirteen years later, Oniusa Venezia is not just a brand of room diffusers. It is a sensory universe that narrates the beauty of living through room fragrances, scented candles, room and fabric sprays, and collections capable of transforming every space into an aesthetic experience.

The inspiration has always remained the same: Venice.

The light reflecting on the water, the architectures spanning centuries, the discreet elegance of details, and that culture of beauty that makes every element part of a larger story.

Today, in celebrating Oniusa Venezia's birthday, we wish to retrace a journey made of research, evolution, and passion.

From 2013 to 2018: the foundations of a perfume house

Every important story begins with an intuition.

In 2013, the Oniusa Venezia project came to life along with the Essenziale line, the first expression of the Zorzetto brothers' olfactory research. It marked the beginning of a journey centered on the quality of fragrances, design, and the perfume's ability to transform environments.

In 2014, Deocar arrived, while the Essenziale brand was officially registered.

The following year represented an important turning point. In 2015, the first home collection "Il Sogno" was born, and with it, the first physical store in Dolo, accompanied by the opening of the online shop. For the first time, the public could directly experience the Oniusa Venezia universe.

In 2016, the brand expanded its vision by entering the world of Private Label and Olfactory Marketing, bringing the concept of olfactory signature also to companies, showrooms, and professional spaces.

In 2017, the new headquarters in Spinea was inaugurated, which remains the beating heart of the company today.

In 2018, the Oniusa project grew further through new collections and the expansion of the Colors line, one of the brand's most iconic collections, capable of associating each fragrance with a precise and recognizable chromatic identity.

From 2019 to 2021: the birth of iconic collections

Some years mark a before and after.

For Oniusa Venezia, the period between 2019 and 2021 represents a true evolution.

In 2019, a new automated production line was installed, allowing the company to grow while maintaining high quality standards. In the same year, Couture was born, a collection that brings the language of haute couture into home fragrancing. Its diffusers with hand-sewn flowers quickly became one of the brand's symbols. The fragrances are inspired by precious fabrics, floral bouquets, and sartorial details, transforming luxury room diffusers into authentic decorative objects.

In 2020, Bòtanica came to life. The collection is inspired by ancient Venetian pharmacies and the Italian herbal tradition. Reed diffusers, room and fabric sprays, soy wax candles, and essences tell of an elegant, sophisticated, and contemporary nature.

In 2021, Oniusa Venezia officially became the company's main brand, and Eccellenza, the brand's most exclusive collection, was born. Large format room diffusers and refined olfactory compositions represent a new interpretation of everyday luxury.

From the tenth anniversary to a new phase of growth

Oniusa Venezia's journey continues to evolve without ever losing its connection to its identity.

In 2023, the company celebrates an important milestone: ten years of activity. An anniversary that coincides with the launch of the Garden capsule collection, a collection that interprets nature through a new olfactory sensibility and confirms the brand's desire to continue experimenting, innovating, and telling new emotions through perfume.

Two years later, in 2025, Oniusa Venezia inaugurates a new phase of its growth. The expansion of logistical and production spaces marks a strategic step for the company's future: a new warehouse, a more efficient structure, and even greater operational capacity, designed to support the brand's expansion while maintaining the quality standards that have always distinguished it.

This is not simply a matter of dimensional growth, but the natural evolution of a company that continues to invest in research, service, and production excellence. An important step towards the future, built on the same passion that gave birth to Oniusa Venezia in 2013.

The collections that transformed perfume into sensory design

Over the years, Oniusa Venezia has developed a distinctive language that combines interior design, olfactory memory, and the culture of living.

Colors tells the story of color as emotion.

Bòtanica interprets the charm of ancient pharmacies.

Couture translates the lightness of fabrics and haute couture into perfume.

Eccellenza represents the ultimate expression of the brand's olfactory research.

Then come the seasonal collections, both born in 2025.

Vacanze Italiane was created as a tribute to the beauty of our country. Capri, Portofino, Taormina, Cortina, Como, and Puglia become olfactory destinations to experience every day through room diffusers and room and fabric sprays.

Il Fascino del Tempo, on the other hand, tells the relationship between memory and future through three narrative acts: Past, Present, and Future.

Each collection contributes to building a precise concept: perfume is not an accessory. It is a sensory design element. An invisible presence that defines the character of spaces and amplifies their identity.
